Duravit launches XSquare, an elegant contemporary bathroom furniture range

Buildings.

Duravit appreciates that in this technological age, elegance, design and efficiency are often the precursors to relaxation, and that an area for wellbeing and mindfulness doesn’t have to mean a dimly lit spa-style surrounding. The XSquare range is the perfect example, with clean lines, high-quality surfaces and striking chrome profiles, it works equally well in home and hotel environments.

Designed in collaboration with Kurt Merki Jr, Duravit’s XSquare range of bathroom furniture combines aesthetics with functionality

Duravit’s XSquare range of furniture has been created in conjunction with designer Kurt Merki Jr.   The son of a master carpenter and fashion designer, Merki Jr instinctively understands the nuances required to combine the practical with the elegant in design terms.

A quadrant-shaped chrome profile surrounds and highlights the edges of the furniture

The ability to work with high-quality and sophisticated interior design concepts is key to the XSquare collection. It provides a wide range of options and combinations that work perfectly alongside many Duravit ceramics, including DuraSquare, Vero Air, ME by Starck and the P3 Comforts series.   Luxurious washing areas combining cupboards, mirrors and mirror-cabinet solutions can be created in a wide range of Duravit sizes and colours.

The XSquare range is designed to work perfectly alongside other Duravit ceramics

One of the most striking features of XSquare the quadrant-shaped chrome profile that surrounds and highlights the edges of the furniture. On the floor-standing model, the transition to the leg frame is completely seamless, accentuating the edges of both variants and continuing along the corner radius of the washbasin. This harmonises both the look and feel of bathing areas.

The XSquare range and other Duravit series can be viewed by appointment at Duravit London on Clerkenwell Road, London EC1.
