Vicaima’s innovative and stylish interior doors have been specified to complement a new Danish-inspired housing concept from Crest Nicholson at its Hygge Park development in Keynsham near Bristol. It may be hundreds of miles from its Nordic roots, but homes on Crest Nicholson’s Hygge Park site embody a touch of Danish design prospective. Hygge, which means comfort, relaxing and wellbeing, is evident throughout this development. Innovative interior layouts create bright and airy spaces, where open-plan living and the clever use of glazing maximises daylight.
Blending seamlessly with the modern and light theme are the Vicaima doors chosen by Crest as the perfect opening between rooms. In keeping with Crest’s forward approach to house design, it chose Vicaima Dekordor SD White Woodgrain interior doors. They are hardwearing and have a bright white factory finished face that displays a discrete, but visible woodgrain appearance. To enhance the design even further, Crest selected a number of options from Vicaima’s extensive customisation, including two attractive satin inlays in a vertical pattern and, where additional light was required, a full-length glazed design.
