The latest version of Schueco’s slimline facade system has an all-glass corner option
Schueco UK has introduced new developments to its ultra-slimline FWS 35 PD panorama design facade system. It now delivers even greater visual elegance with larger all-glass areas, the option of sun-shading and three levels of burglar resistance. A major innovation is the introduction of an all-glass corner solution, which ensures wider unobstructed views, greater transparency from the inside and a sleek, contemporary external aesthetic.

With Passive House certification for the top Schueco FWS 35 PD.SI version, the range offers thermal insulation levels as low as
0.79 W/m²K and can accommodate double- and triple-glazed units from 22mm to 50mm thickness. A new single-glazed option further enhances the system’s versatility.

Where ventilation is required, the facade can incorporate Schueco AWS 114 opening window units. These can be specified with either top-hung or parallel-opening types, and are an attractive and practical method of ventilation.
Recognising the importance of solar shading for large glazed areas, the Schueco FWS 35 PD facade provides two newly introduced methods of attachment by means of bolts or brackets. Discrete connection components are able to accommodate a wide variety of shading units despite the system’s very slim profiles.
High-quality security features do not compromise the appearance of the facade
Schueco provides three levels of security for the facade: standard or resistance classes 2 and 3 of EN 1627. The appearance of the facade remains unaffected due to the concealed nature of the security-related components.
