Saint-Gobain Weber’s weberfloor and weberset commercial floor and tile products have given a new lease of life to a car dealership in Newcastle-upon-Tyne
The floor tiles were laid using weberset SPF, a flexible cement-based adhesive that sets within 24 hours and only requires the addition of clean water on site
Commercial floor screed and tile fixing products from Saint-Gobain Weber have been specified as part of the refurbishment of the Hodgson Mazda dealership in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The showroom floor was treated with weberfloor 4716 primer prior to application of the screed. Designed for use on a wide range of substrates, it regulates porosity, improves adhesion of flooring products, and reduces the formation of pinholes.
Supplied as a blended dry powder, weberfloor 4310 levelling compound can be applied in thicknesses of 5-50mm
weberfloor 4310 fibre flow, a fibre reinforced levelling compound, was then pumped over the floor. The screed is supplied as a blended dry powder and can be applied in thicknesses of 5-50mm. It can receive foot traffic after just 2-4 hours, can be tiled after 12-24 hours, and has excellent spreading and smoothing characteristics.
weber PR360 multi-purpose priming solution was applied to the floors before the porcelain tiles were laid. The tiles were installed using weberset SPF, a polymer modified, cement-based, flexible adhesive. Specified in white, the adhesive sets within 24 hours and only requires the addition of clean water on site.
