For more than 20 years, Kingfisher Louvres has supplied high-quality extruded aluminium louvre systems for projects across a variety of sectors including healthcare, education, hospitality and leisure. Designed to integrate seamlessly into façades and on rooftops, the range includes louvres which provide ventilation, weather protection, screening and acoustic attenuation while enhancing the aesthetics of a building. There are also options for multiple bank weather louvres, framed louvre panels and louvred doors.
Enhancing a landmark hotel development
At the new 157-room Maldron Hotel in Shoreditch, designed by Jestico & Whiles and delivered by CField Construction, Kingfisher supplied a rooftop louvre screening package to complement the building’s contemporary architecture. Installed by Air Design Systems, the solution included 1,500 metres of KW100Z louvre blade and three louvred doors to screen plant equipment on the roof.
Finished in RAL 9006 White Aluminium, the louvres blend seamlessly with the hotel’s stepped and articulated façade, maintaining the building’s modern aesthetic whilst concealing essential services.

Supporting a healthcare facility upgrade
Kingfisher also contributed to Siemens Healthineers’ new office and canteen building at its Llanberis site, part of a £4.85 million project designed by Ryder Architecture and delivered by Wynne Construction. Working with Air Design Systems, Kingfisher supplied 3,416 metres of KW75Z louvre blade together with one single and three double access doors.
Finished in RAL 9005 Matt Black, the louvres provide discrete screening and protection for plant equipment while supporting the building’s ventilation strategy and delivering a sleek, modern appearance.

Rooftop screening for an award-winning university building
Designed by Stride Treglown with CPMG Architects and delivered by Kier Construction, the University of Derby’s new Cavendish Building is a centrepiece in Derby’s city centre masterplan and has already been recognised with multiple industry awards.
Installed by Advanced Roofing & Cladding, Kingfisher supplied 154 metres of KC120 louvre blade and a matching double-door set for screening rooftop plant equipment. The KC120’s versatile Z-profile blade can be angled to achieve screening from different viewpoints and a broad choice of finishes and RAL colours ensures design flexibility. For this project, the louvres were finished in RAL 7015 Matt Grey, helping maintain a consistent architectural appearance while allowing essential access to plant equipment.
