When client ANZ imagined its new offices, it knew that the health and wellness of its staff needed to be a top priority. It also wanted to create a welcoming space that encouraged both community and collaboration. To achieve this, it would need to prioritise acoustic design throughout its workspace, to allow staff to easily communicate with colleagues and create quiet areas dedicated to more focused work.

Having achieved this on a number of previous projects, architect TP Bennett, specified Oscar Acoustics and its SonaSpray range to deliver the ‘office harmony’ that ANZ was looking for. Once applied to ceilings, the SonaSpray seamless acoustic spray absorbs sound energy, creating spaces that support wellbeing and productivity. For this project, SonaSpray K-13 was used to reduce noise throughout, creating a calm and welcoming work environment.

Mariachiara Dal Pozzo, Associate Director at TP Bennett, said: “Having used SonaSpray on many other projects, we knew how effective it was at significantly reducing office noise. It’s fast become our go-to acoustic solution due to the vast difference it makes, both in open-plan office areas and cellular spaces.” She added: “Having used an alternative product recently, we noticed a drop in standard. Only SonaSpray delivers both in terms of aesthetics and sound management. The decorative acoustic finish on the project is exceptional and hides any imperfections, making it as visually appealing as it is at reducing noise.”
