Intended for office or educational buildings with concrete interiors, Spectral Lighting’s innovative acoustic BLADE range combines luminaires and sound absorbing acoustic panels. Suspended vertical baffles provide particularly effective acoustic management, while allowing heat to circulate freely into the buildings concrete structure. Blade matches precisely the look and feel of the acoustic baffles for a seamless installation.

• Minimal reduction in thermal efficiency

Blade allows hot air to rise between the baffles. The heat is transferred to the concrete soffit, cooling the air and adding heat to the thermal mass for use later. Conventional suspended ceilings, and horizontal acoustic panels trap heat in the room and prevent the concrete thermal mass from performing effectively.
