The Taralay Impression Collection, from international flooring and interiors specialist Gerflor, has been reinvented for 2023. There is now a wide range of new eye-catching designs, and a brand new loose-lay product. With MyTaralay Digital printing, the service offers forward thinking customers, access to some new dynamic finishes, as well as a customisation offer for bespoke requirements.
The new Taralay Impression range delivers four superb solutions for a host of contract applications, and is the perfect choice for high-traffic environments. The Glue down installation, Compact, Looselay and the all-new Taralay Hop Compact ranges are ideally suited to healthcare, hotels and other hospitality spaces, as well as retirement homes, education buildings, offices, government projects, and retail locations.
The new collection delivers 96 exclusive designs, giving designers freedom to unleash their creativity. The Wood finishes provide a structured, textured, or wraparound interpretation that connects humans and the spaces in which we live and work. Nature is an inspired graphic that is an ode to the gracefulness of leaves swept up by the wind, as well as lush tropical forests. The Mineral design strikes a balance between neutral and colourful tones with a hint of marble chips and polychrome shades. Finally, the Textile finish depicts the warmth and comfort of a woven surface in natural fibres and blended colours, creating a soft and subtle vintage look.
Gerflor offers its customers an extensive range of digital printing services, including MyTaralay Impression. The design service enables specifiers to make bold design statements, stimulate and nurture creativity, as well as can stand out from the crowd by personalising the floors they are specifying.
Specifiers can also discover five exclusive designs created by five up-and-coming artists – Bleg, Flatman, Gol3M, Osru, and Polkie – who took advantage of the infinite possibilities offered by digital printing to create custom-made floor coverings. The designs have been added to the MyTaralay library and are currently available, in addition to the standard collection.
Nav Dhillon, Marketing Manager, Gerflor UK commented, “The new Taralay Impression Collection is aimed at delivering both beauty and practicality for our clients and users. The brand new Taralay Impression Hop loose lay solution, is also a massive breakthrough. It can be installed extremely quickly and has the ability to be reused. With the MyTaralay Digital printing service, users can customise their flooring or choose from a refreshed collection, which has been recently updated using the talent of up-and-coming artists, providing specifiers with some unique, funky, and contemporary designs.”
More than 20 million square metres of Gerflor flooring has been installed since the first generation of Taralay Impression. Now, in 2023 this iconic flooring is getting a new look while retaining its key benefits, including durability, ease of cleaning and maintenance, and ability to provide designers and specifiers with a broad range of breath-taking designs.
