Architecture Today is partnering with Habitat Matters to support a series of a webinars and podcasts discussing the challenges of supporting natural habitats in the built environment in the run up to the UN’s COP15 and COP26 conferences.

The Habitat Matters campaign, which is lead by ACO Water Management and supported by 60 partner organisations, will explore how the UK construction industry can work to tackle biodiversity decline and support habitats within the built environment.

Habitat Matters kicks off with a series of eight free webinars and six podcasts – produced by Architecture Today – in the run up to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) taking place from 31 October – 12 November 2021 in Glasgow, and the United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP 15) which runs from 11 – 24 October 2021 in Kunming, China.

Habitat Matters will launch new initiatives later in the year, including a habitat data map, in the lead up to Futurebuild – a net zero showcase taking place at London’s ExCeL from 1-3 March 2022.
