FabSpeed’s Pro-Clad™ backing boards provide superior durability and environmental responsibility. These non-combustible panels suit both internal and external applications, with a reinforced mesh layer for added strength and impact resistance without increased thickness.

Pro-Clad™ boards offer water resistance, mold and rodent protection, and excellent thermal and sound insulation. Easy to handle, they can be cut on-site using a handheld angle grinder with a diamond-tipped blade, ensuring proper PPE use. Chemically stable and hazard-free, Pro-Clad™ simplifies installation while maintaining top performance.

Stainless steel fixings accommodate various substrates, including timber battens, aluminium cladding rails, blockwork, concrete, and plywood. Each application benefits from technical support, including pull-off and pull-through testing for secure installation.

Brick cladding systems: customisable and efficient
FabSpeed’s brick cladding systems offer flexibility with bonded or mechanically-fixed brick or stone slips. Compatible with nearly any brick type, they ensure seamless integration with traditional brickwork, maintaining consistent colour and finish. By sourcing bricks from the site, reducing their thickness, and fabricating them onto lightweight backing boards with BBA-approved resin, FabSpeed delivers precise solutions.

Pro-Clad™ brick-faced cladding systems
• Pro-Clad 1: A rectangular brick-faced cladding system where slips are fabricated on site post installation. Ideal for vertical walls requiring repeated panel sizes, it is 95 per cent prefabricated off site for ease of installation.
• Pro-Clad 2: An interlocking system needing no on-site slip fabrication. Designed for vertical and soffit applications, it offers excellent value with minimal on-site labour.
• Pro-Clad 3: A mechanically-fixed and resin-bonded system, perfect for gables and smaller projects. Retaining Pro-Clad 2’s efficiency, it ensures rapid, high-quality installation with minimal on-site effort.

CMS40: the future of facade systems
In collaboration with Cladmate, FabSpeed developed the CMS40 Facade System, a lightweight, mechanically-fixed brick-slip solution. Combining traditional brick aesthetics with advanced rainscreen cladding technology, CMS40 suits high- and low-rise applications, new builds, and retrofits.

The system meets fire safety standards (BS 8414-2:2020) and environmental benchmarks (CWCT). BBA certification covers its use with Parex lime-based and Instamac cement-based mortars. Its lightweight framework reduces structural loads, while its A1 non-combustible rating ensures fire safety. Additionally, its aluminium bracket and clay brick components are fully recyclable, supporting circular sustainability goals.
