This module provides an introduction to the different types of bio-based materials and their role in sequestering and storing carbon in buildings. Participants will learn the importance of incorporating these materials into projects to help achieve carbon reduction targets. Additionally, the module will cover the Passivhaus principles, the concept of Climate Positive homes and the philosophy of One Planet Living.
