Supplied by Taylor Maxwell, STONEPANEL™ is an innovative, stone cladding system for walls and facades. It comprises individual z-shaped panels made of natural stone, including quartzite, gneiss, limestone, sandstone and slate, which are precast into a cement base and reinforced with fibreglass mesh. The panels are laid in stretcher bond to eliminate continuous vertical joints. The joints themselves are concealed by the panel’s z-shaped form.
STONEPANEL™ section
Suitable for a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial and education, STONEPANEL™ provides a unique and high-quality finish to elevations, and is quick and easy to install without the need for specialist labour. The panels can be installed up to 10 times faster than traditional random walling, with a 2:1 work gang typically completing 20-25 square-metres per day. The product can be easily cut on-site using an electric grinder or site cutting bench.
STONEPANEL™ is BBA-certified
It is recommended to fix the cladding back to a masonry substrate with Ardex X 7G Plus adhesive up to a height of two-metres. STONEPANEL™ Sky is recommended for fixings above this height. The panels feature an additional hook that is precast into the back to facilitate mechanical fixing in addition to adhesive. This provides additional strength and durability.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, STONEPANEL™ is backed by BBA certification when fixed back to solid masonry or concrete walls, and comes in a wide range of stone finishes. Different sized panels are available, including 610 (560×1.25mm) and 600 (550x200mm), as well as special corner pieces designed to provide a continuous, monolithic appearance.
