Join RAI members Tonkin Liu, Purcell and Jan Kattein Architects at Futurebuild 2026 for a series of presentations exploring what regenerative architecture looks like in practice hosted by Architects Declare and Architecture Today.
Architecture Today and UK Architects Declare are contributing to this year’s Futurebuild, co-locating with UK Construction Week, from 12–14 May 2026 at ExCeL London.
On Wednesday 13 May, 14:45–15:45 (Main Stage), we will be hosting a 60-minute session exploring what regenerative architecture looks like in practice today.
All three speakers are from practices engaged with the Regenerative Architecture Index (RAI).
Taking to the stage will be:
- Anna Liu, Director, Tonkin Liu
Exploring Co-evolving with nature, demonstrating how natural systems become generative design partners rather than constraints. - Laura Baron, Head of Sustainability, Purcell
Addressing Being a good ancestor, and what long-term custodianship means in the face of climate risk, heritage responsibility and economic constraint. - Jan Kattein, Director, Jan Kattein Architects
On Creating a just space for people, positioning regeneration as a social as well as environmental act.
Chaired by Isabel Allen, Editor of Architecture Today, the session will look to draw connections across ecological reciprocity, long-term stewardship and social justice.
Futurebuild’s Knowledge Programme forms part of the Super Event’s 13 content stages, 700+ speakers and 250+ hours of CPD-accredited content. Architects, engineers, planners, clients and policy-makers will be in attendance.
