Projects by Niall McLaughlin Architects

Buildings.

Self-published to mark Niall McLaughlin Architects’ contribution to the 2018 Venice Biennale, ‘Twelve Halls’ adopts a thematic approach in drawing together a variety of the architect’s projects, small and large, built and unbuilt. “The idea of people coming together to express a shared identity is embodied in the word hall”, says the architect. The book describes 12 spaces designed for gathering, each with a ritual at its heart, from dining, storytelling, music, drama and religious rituals to sports, each with by an essay by McLaughlin.
