“This is such an important award, especially in the era we live in, where the notion of responsibility is becoming increasingly pertinent,” commented judge Peter Bishop. “This era is not about designing something wonderful and buggering off, it’s about taking responsibility for your actions as an architect. To judge upon your peers three, five, 10, and in one case, about 60 years into the future is a great way of reflecting on those responsibilities – and reminding ourselves of what they are. So congratulations to everybody involved today.”

Fellow jury member Dav Bansal also said: “Thank you to Architecture Today for another inspiring year of judging the Test of Time Awards. For me, the greatest reward any architect can receive is history itself — and these awards capture exactly that. They also celebrate the lasting relationships we forge with our clients, long after the project is complete. It was a terrific day listening to stories of enduring, timeless projects — places that have transformed lives, created legacies, and influenced generations of architects to come.”

Wendy Perring, Founder and Design Director, PAD Studio and client David Johnston.
Amir Sanei and Abigail Hopkins, Directors at Sanei Hopkins Architects.

“Both my clients who attended did the projects proud and it was a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do,” added Cindy Walters. “In four short years the AT Test of Time Awards have become the awards everyone wants to win which is a brilliant achievement ‚ congratulations.”
