RIBA North marks 25 years of Urban Splash

RIBA’s National Architecture Centre marks the quarter-centenary of swashbuckling developer Urban Splash with a show charting the prizes it has won since starting without a plan, instead taking the regular warning “It’ll never work” as a call to action.

Founded in Liverpool by Tom Bloxham and Jonathan Falkingham, the Manchester-based company’s work ranges from early regeneration projects, pioneering loft-living in former industrial in northern cities, to its current activities in prefabricated modular housing.
