Kaldewei is a brand with a strong ethical and ecological conscience. As a pioneer in the field of sustainability for more than 100 years, it continues to look for ways to improve and expand. By manufacturing its sanitaryware using Bluemint steel, and reducing carbon output by 70 per cent, the company is able to produce luxurious, sustainable bathroom solutions; coining the term ‘luxtainable’.
Kaldewei’s most recent product is Superplan Zero, a shower surface that provides a completely level floor finish, totally flat to the floor, with zero steps, zero edges, and zero compromises. This makes it ideal for bathrooms in the hospitality sector and for project developers and homebuilders too. Developed by the award-winning Berlin product designer Werner Aisslinger, Superplan Zero maintains Kaldewei’s green credentials, as with its luxurious steel enamel base, it is both durable and 100 per cent recyclable.
Colour is also important in the bathroom, and Kaldewei provides a bi-coloured variant in three of its freestanding bathtub models: Centro Duo Oval, Conoduo and Ellipso Duo Oval – providing an eye-catching combination for today’s modern bathroom.
