The deadline for entries to the 2025 Schüco Excellence Awards, for buildings that feature Schüco facades, window and door systems has been extended to 24 April.
Entries are invited for the 2025 Schüco Excellence Awards for Design and Innovation, celebrating the skills of architects and specialist contractors. Now in their 12th year, the awards showcase the very best contributions from design teams and the Schüco facade, window and door systems involved. Entries are judged on creativity, innovation, technical expertise and collaboration to deliver architectural intent.
Winning and commended projects will be announced at the awards lunch on 26th June at The Pelligon in London’s Canary Wharf. An awards supplement will be published in Architecture Today and in a special feature online. Winning entries will also be presented at an event later in the year. To be eligible, projects must have been completed by 1st April 2025.

This year’s judging panel is chaired by Architecture Today editor Isabel Allen and includes Ben Heath (Grimshaw), Carol Patterson (OMA), and Mark Brighouse (tp bennett) – all previous Schüco award winners – as well as environmental designer Innes Johnston (Max Fordham), and façade specialists Steve Mudie (Turner & Townsend alinea), Paola Sammarco (FMDC), Teresa Farina (Sir Robert McAlpine), and Billy Field (façade industry consultant).
Awards will be made for projects that incorporate Schüco facade, window and door systems in nine categories: Commercial and Mixed-Use developments, Education buildings, Health, Cultural and Leisure buildings, Refurbishment and Adaptive Reuse projects, Residential development, Individual house (both new-build and retrofit projects are eligible), Major project (at least 1,000-square-meters of façade), Specialist contractor, and Sustainability award.
