EARTHIC® by Silestone®XM is a new generation of surfaces conceived jointly with renowned research-based design duo Formafantasma. Challenging the conventional approach to design, EARTHIC® was designed from the inside out, prioritising sustainable production processes over mere aesthetic appeal. These new designs use recycled, reused and advanced raw materials.

EARTHIC® is a capsule collection of six unique sustainable stone surfaces. EARTHIC® has an advanced composition of up to 30% recycled materials including recycled PET, discarded Dekton fragments and post-industrial glass. Additionally, post-consumer bio-resin (between 16-23%) derived from vegetable oil and recycled cooking oil is used when manufacturing the surfaces.

Setting a new benchmark for the industry and heralding a new generation of mineral hybriq surfaces, EARTHIC® is the first collection to be made with Silestone XM – surfaces containing a maximum silica content of 10%. Thanks to HybriQ+® technology, these colours are produced with 100% renewable electrical energy and 99% recycled water. By working with recycled and reclaimed materials, these components come together to create something extraordinary – with the aim to significantly decrease the extraction of raw materials, C02 emissions and soil erosion.

EARTHIC® is divided into two colour series:

EARTHIC / FFROM X FORMAFANTASMA
Three colours that reflects the material’s origin and sourcing, as well as the process of transforming recycled materials into something new.

  • FFROM 01: A grey surface speckled with white recycled PET fragments creating a subtle yet intricate pattern that draws the eye and adds depth to its composition.
  • FFROM 02: A darker tone of grey elegantly punctuated with white accents, creating a visually attractive contrast. A shade of grey with a sense of modernity and minimalism.
  • FFROM 03: A mesmerising yet elegant and anthracite background with recycled PET scales scattered across the surface resembles the night sky or a geological specimen.

EARTHIC / RAW X COSENTINO STUDIO
Patterns and colours that capture the material essence in its most authentic state, combined with shapes that express a new aesthetic.

  • RAW A: A colour endowed with a soft dark veined pattern over a white background that reveals an intricate design evoking a sense of natural elegance, reminiscent of refined stones found in nature.
  • RAW G: A serene and natural concrete canvas with subtle copper touches intertwined with nebulous veins that add a sense of fluidity.
  • RAW D: A dark natural rock backdrop provides a mood of tranquillity and solid elegance. Diffused streaks of bronze weaves through a charcoal landscape.
