Buildings.

At Lumii Design, we believe that great interiors do not shout, they resonate. Every space tells a story, and sound is a vital part of that narrative. From precisely detailed wall panels to sculptural ceiling forms, Lumii transforms architectural surfaces into serene, tactile environments where acoustics and aesthetics exist in perfect harmony.

Rooted in sustainable innovation and design-led thinking, Lumii specialises in acoustic solutions crafted from Miixfelt™, a premium PET felt made from 75 percent recycled content. Designed, cut and finished in the UK, each panel embodies precision, performance and purpose, uniting advanced engineering with a carefully curated material palette. Based in Sussex with easy access to London and the rest of the UK, Lumii also works globally, supported by a London Clerkenwell showroom where clients can explore products, materials and colours first-hand.

Where Sound Meets Surface
Lumii collections are created to bring stillness and clarity to modern environments. Whether shaping the mood of a workplace, hospitality setting or learning space, every design balances technical acoustic performance with visual calm.

On the walls, the Groove and Art Deco collections transform Miixfelt into architectural compositions that diffuse sound and soften visual noise. Clean V-grooved lines, geometric motifs and subtle shadows work together to deliver texture, rhythm and depth. Each panel is CNC cut on Lumii Zünd precision machinery, ensuring seamless repetition and a flawless finish across continuous runs of wall panelling.

Above, the story extends into the ceiling. Lumii Ceiling Islands and Baffles, designed in-house by Head of Design Ian Cull, combine structural precision with sculptural presence, creating forms that are as efficient acoustically as they are elegant visually. Every detail, from suspension spacing to edge radius, is refined to achieve balance between acoustic absorption, architectural intent and ease of installation.

Collaborative collections, such as Bark, Kanopy and SoundArt developed with EchoKit × Lumii, add an additional dimension of artistry and texture. Each design explores how sound can be softened through rhythm, layering and organic form, bringing warmth and harmony to shared spaces.

Colour, Expertise and Purpose
Colour is central to Lumii identity. The Miixfelt™ colour range, curated in-house, features more than 140 shades inspired by natural and architectural tones, from quiet neutrals and muted greens to deep terracottas and burgundy reds. Each hue is chosen for its ability to evoke emotion, influence focus and enhance spatial wellbeing.

Behind every project stands the Lumii team of product designers and acoustic experts, offering design guidance, technical support and bespoke development to help clients bring their ideas to life. This collaborative approach ensures that every installation, whether standard or custom, performs beautifully in both sound and form.

Designed Responsibly
Every Miixfelt product supports zero-waste manufacturing, with off-cuts repurposed into planters and infill materials as part of Lumii circular design ethos. Lumii products are EPD certified, aligning with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards and carrying the Made in Britain mark, a testament to the company commitment to sustainability, quality and environmental care.

A Quiet Revolution in Acoustic Design
As buildings evolve to prioritise wellbeing, productivity and sustainability, Lumii continues to lead the conversation, proving that acoustic performance and design excellence can exist side by side.

Through innovation, craftsmanship and a deep understanding of material behaviour, Lumii shapes walls and ceilings that do more than absorb sound, they define atmosphere. This is the art of quiet design.
