Atlanta, 26th February 2026, Interface, the global flooring and sustainability leader, introduces noravant™, a first-of-its-kind PVC-free resilient flooring solution combining high performance, bold design flexibility, and a low-carbon footprint. With innovative technology behind its design flexibility, noravant allows designers to specify rubber in more spaces within high-performing environments. The addition extends the company’s rubber offering, which now includes noraplan®, norament®, and noravant™.

The first product within the platform, noravant timber, features the industry’s first woodgrain design in rubber flooring, helping to bring a natural aesthetic to demanding environments like healthcare waiting areas and patient rooms, where durability and cleanability are essential.

noravant timber is available in 10 Nordic-inspired colorways, including creamy ivories, sandy taupes, and deep grounding shades. Together, the palette moves from warmer to cooler woodgrains, offering designers a variety of options for creating spaces that feel welcoming, without compromising on performance or sustainability. The woodgrain design of noravant timber serves as the platform’s initial product, with plans to introduce new styles in the future for even greater design freedom.

noravant is the newest chapter of the nora rubber innovation story and advances what began with noracare, its rubber flooring engineered for increased cleaning, superior resistance performance, and enhanced sustainability. When noracare launched in Europe in 2020, it set new benchmarks for rubber flooring, meeting the needs of tough environments with the highest hygiene requirements. Now, noracare becomes noravant and represents the next step forward in this legacy of innovation. With noravant, customers receive the same proven performance as noracare with a new name.

noravant has one of the lowest carbon footprints in rubber, supporting Interface’s bold ‘all in’ commitment to be carbon negative by 2040. The platform includes 10 per cent post-industrial recycled content, incorporates bio-based materials, is PVC-free, and is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver. Products can also be recycled at Interface’s specialised facility in Germany and will be part of the nora product take-back programme.

Kelly Simcox, Head of Global Design at Interface, said: “With noravant, we’re bringing disruptive design thinking and expertise in innovation to the rubber category. We’ve already elevated our nora portfolio using innovative chip blends and nuanced color to generate marble- and terrazzo-inspired looks. noravant builds on this success and expands the creative potential of rubber even further. It’s a true design platform that empowers designers to create inspiring spaces – especially in healthcare, where high performance is essential.”
