Find out which projects have made it to the finals of 2026 Architecture Today Test of Time Awards.

Architecture Today’s Test of Time Awards represent a cultural shift away from celebrating newness and towards a focus on longevity. In contrast to most awards programmes, they assess buildings that have been in use for several years and can demonstrate a strong track record in delivering on their environmental, functional, community and cultural ambitions.

Supported by The Concrete Centre, Society Building and VMZINC, the awards encourage a greater focus on building performance evaluation and shared learning, helping the industry understand how buildings adapt, endure and continue to serve their users over time.

Architecture Today’s Awards Committee has selected 36 projects across 11 categories: Education; Healthcare; Hospitality, Sport & Leisure; Individual House; International; Landscape & Public Realm; Mixed Use & Retail; Religion & Culture; Residential; Transport & Infrastructure; and Workplace. Five student projects have also been selected as finalists for the Student Prize.

The finalists will present their projects to the jury at the Live Finals on 9 September 2026.
