Some 76 projects have been listed as finalists in the runningĀ  for the RIBA London Awards for 2024.

ā€œAs we seek new housing solutions and innovative approaches to urban regeneration, these projects provide hope for the future of our cities,” said RIBA Regional Director of London, Dian Small in a statement. ā€œFrom small-scale refurbishments and self-build family homes in South London, to revitalised cultural centres in the West, and re-imagined industrial heritage sites in the North, the projects highlight the diversity of Londonā€™s rich architectural heritage, but remain united in their commitment to social value and sustainable design.ā€

Regional award winners will be considered for further ā€˜RIBA Special Awards,ā€™ including the RIBA Sustainability Award and RIBA Building of the Year, before being considered for the RIBA National Award, which will be announced later this year in summer. From that, the shortlist for the RIBA Stirling Prize will be compiled, with the shortlist announced this September and the winners unveiled in October.
