On the evening of 7th September, Zumtobel hosted a prestigious event celebrating its continued partnership with the Serpentine Pavilion in London’s Kensington Gardens. This year’s pavilion, titled À table, was designed by the renowned Paris-based practice Lina Ghotmeh — Architecture.

The event, which was attended by more than 250 guests from across the architectural industry, commenced with a warm welcome from Tom Lobak, Regional Sales Director for London Specification, followed by an inspiring and thought-provoking talk by Lina Ghotmeh, headline guest speaker and designer of the this year’s pavilion, who shared insights into her creative process and vision. Next, there was a fascinating talk by Katja Leszczynska, the lighting designer behind the pavilion, and then a conversation between Katja and Lina. Zumtobel’s Continued Support
Zumtobel is proud to announce its fourth-time sponsorship of the Serpentine Pavilion. In collaboration with its sister brand Thorn – both members of the Zumtobel Group – Zumtobel provided all of the lighting, complementing the À table design. Inspired by Ghotmeh’s Mediterranean heritage and the art of shared meals and conversations, the pavilion features a circular table at its core, fostering dialogue and connection.

Notably, the event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Isabel Zumtobel, granddaughter of the founder of Zumtobel. Isabel’s presence added a touch of historical significance to the evening, further highlighting the brands commitment to the world of architecture and design.
