Opening its doors in May 2024, Oscar Acoustics’ new base provides an employee-focused workspace that demonstrates its ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing and sustainability. The Oscar Innovation Centre has since been awarded the Green Plaque and defined by assessors as ‘net zero CO2 emissions’, placing the ambitious development in the top 0.35 per cent most energy-efficient schemes anywhere in England.

Acoustic spray showroom
Having transformed a derelict cement works site in Halling, Kent, Oscar’s new premises span more than 1,485 square metres and comprise warehouses, offices, and a show home for its class-leading acoustic product range.
The showcased products include Oscar’s SonaSpray and Oscar Elite range of recycled and fire-rated acoustic sprays and its patented Oscar Evo-Blade razor-edge ceiling trim. Tours are available for architects and designers to view the products in a real-life setting and discover how they can visually and acoustically transform a project.

An employee-focused workspace
With the company’s steadfast commitment to employee wellbeing, managing director, Ben Hancock has created an ‘employee-centred’ space that places staff at the heart of its design. The main building features Manhattan loft-style offices, private meeting rooms, and relaxed breakout spaces, allowing employees to work comfortably in an environment purpose-built for their needs.
