A year-round programme of live events and editorial and learning content across the UK and Ireland offers RAI members opportunities to raise their profile, promote their work, network, socialise – and hone their photography skills.
REINVENTING PRACTICE
Photographer Timothy Soar is taking an on-going series of portraits of individuals from RAI practices, which are then published alongside accompanying text giving an insight into the work the organisation is doing to move towards regenerative practice. The articles are published on architecturetoday.co.uk (and occasionally in print) and widely disseminated through Architecture Today’s social media channels.

WEBINAR PRESENTATIONS
Architecture Today is working up content for two webinars on regenerative architecture: one on Circularity, which will take place on Wednesday August 5th, and one on Sustainability & Regenerative Design, scheduled for Wednesday November 25th. We’re keen to hear from RAI members who are interested in giving a presentation about a project or specialism that others could learn from.

SPEAKING OPPORTUNITIES AT UK REiiF: RAI ON STAGE
Most public buildings delivered today will still be operating in 2050. If we design them conventionally, they will become retrofit liabilities. On 13th May 2026 Architecture Today and Architects Declare are taking to the stage at UKREiiF to look at the way regenerative architecture can deliver long-term public value by creating buildings that give back more energy than they take, improve occupant experience, restore biodiversity, reduce flood risk and overheating in cities, create healthier environments and become net-positive contributors to their community and neighbourhood. Speaker slots are exclusively for RAI members who are attending UKREiiF.

ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION
A round table discussion to discuss the challenges involved in ensuring that the projects we deliver today address the needs of future generations. A review of the discussion, along with video interviews with the round table participants, will be published in Architecture Today’s magazine and website and through its social media channels. This is an opportunity for leaders in the field to establish their credentials as a thought leader, share knowledge and expertise, promote their work and network with likeminded collaborators and clients. The event will take place on Thursday 17th September at the Schueco’s London showroom at 153 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 6QW from 9am – 11.30 am. Participation is free to RAI members, but numbers are extremely limited.
