The Bottle Factory (above) will host the AT Awards Winners Party
Join us on Thursday 2 March 2023 at The Architecture Today Awards party as we announce the winners of the inaugural awards and celebrate buildings that have stood the test of time.
The award ceremony will be hosted by AT editor Isabel Allen with Nicholas Okwulu, Community Enabler Building Stronger Communities, with music from local musicians and lunch by Peckham’s Ganapati South Indian kitchen.
The winners will be revealed at the awards party, which – appropriately enough – will take place at a historic building that has stood the test of time, The Bottle Factory in Peckham. Having seen multiple changes of use since it was built in 1895, the building off Old Kent Road has been given a new lease of life by Fabrix as a home for new and old urban industries and creatives.
Tickets are available for £120 per person or £99 per person for parties of three or more and include drinks reception, lunch, building tours, live music and presentations.
The shortlist
Our expert panel has shortlisted 32 buildings across nine categories: Residential; Education; Healthcare; Hospitality, Sport & Leisure; Mixed Use & Retail; Religion & Culture; Transport, Infrastructure, Landscape & Public realm; Workplace and International.
Finalists for the Architecture Today Awards have been selected by a panel of technical experts measuring key areas of performance criteria including construction approach, environmental performance, user comfort and well-being, accessibility, inclusivity and legibility, adaptability and flexibility, facilitation of sustainable lifestyles, robustness and resilience, biodiversity and natural capital, social impact, civic pride and sense of place, and contribution to shared learning.
