An exhibition of photographic portraits and interviews focusing on members of the Regenerative Architecture Index offers an insight into practices and organisations working to accelerate the transition to regenerative design.

Since the launch of the Regenerative Architecture Index in 2023 architectural photographer Timothy Soar has been taking portraits of participating practices, as a springboard for a discussion about the work they are doing to accelerate the transition towards regenerative design.
All 40 portraits, and the accompanying interviews, will be on show throughout October 2026 at the Building Centre on Store Street in central London as part of Regenerative Design 2026.

Timothy Soar will be giving a talk at the Building Centre on the morning of Tuesday 6th October about the relationship between the way we document architecture and architects and the way we communicate and define architectural value, specifically in relation to the challenges posted by climate change.
Launched by Architecture Today, Regenerative Design 2026 is a month-long programme of exhibitions and events that takes place at the Building Centre throughout October 2026.
