Celebrity fitness trainer Mark Anthony’s vision for his new cycle studio was to ‘defy the ordinary’. Prospec rose to the challenge with imaginative design and high-quality products that perfectly complemented this one of a kind project

Located in London’s Westfield Centre, First Light comprises three studios, the largest of which contains 68 bespoke bicycles and the ‘Magic Mirror’ system, which visually transports riders as far as Ibiza, Manhattan, Dubai and Rio de Janeiro in an immersive cycling experience. The facility required a bespoke washroom that would not only be durable, but also provide the look and feel of a high-end boutique. Prospec’s Marathon range was the only solution.

Marathon System D cubicles were supplied and installed by Prospec-employed fitters for the toilets and showers. 10mm toughened float glass doors and dividers look stunning in Traffic White from the Prospec glass colour collection, whilst a curved aluminium pilaster and head rail provide a great contrast with their anodised finish. As experts in glass, the performance of our systems is second to none. Adjustable legs are set back 150mm to create a floating appearance, while remaining mechanically fixed to the front pilaster and headrail to form a fully framed system. All hinges, fittings and door latches are made from anodised aluminium to ensure durability and longevity. Marathon Laminate Wet Lockers. Electronically locked for extra security.
In keeping with the studio’s ultra-modern feel, Marathon Laminate Wet Lockers are secured with Prospec OCS electronic code locks. Resetting after each use, users simply enter a four-digit code of their choosing to engage the lock without the need for wristbands, coins or keys.

The lockers, which comprise a mix of two- and three-tier configurations, are finished in white solid grade laminate. They feature rolled aluminium carcasses and ventilated ABS shelves that are designed to withstand leisure centre levels of use in humid conditions. Prospec lockers incorporate radius rear corners for ease of cleaning, aluminium extruded profiles, through-fixed hinges for security and emergency access, as well as sprung hinges for automatic door closing. These features ensure that Marathon products last the distance.
