Kick-Start Publishing launches The Specifier’s Guide to Flooring

Kick-Start Publishing has launched The Specifier’s Guide to Flooring. Aimed at architects, designers, and facilities managers, the comprehensive publication explores key materials, ancillary products, accessories and everything in-between. It is available in hard copy format and online.
Following in the footsteps of its successful sister publication, The Specifier’s Guide to Tile & Stone, the new handbook features commentary from prominent industry names, technical analysis and inspirational imagery, including global case studies and exploded material make-ups.
In a presentation given at the guide’s official launch in London, senior facilities management consultant Fiona Bowman described the publication as an “expert at your elbow”, and praised its “compelling, substantive, clear and concise content”. She added that it is “invaluable for the complex specification process.” Simon Jackson, founder of interior design practice sjjdc, described the guide as “a must-have companion to ensuring appropriate specifications.” Meanwhile, editor of Contract Flooring Journal David Strydom said, “We predict that it will become the flooring handbook for everybody involved in installations.”
